A writer writes. A reader reads. A walker walks. What is new? Not much. It is good to sit and think.
I have been reflecting on how to improve my next year teaching. What shall I do differently? Well, already I have a different schedule. I am not sure what will be really different. But I am going to spend more time at first teaching routines. Third graders are great.
What kind of routines?
ReplyDeleteLike how to walk in the hall, go to lunch, go to recess, come into the room, etc. And some academic ones too. How to choose a just right book, how to do the daily 5,rocket math.
